Getting Started with MODI Luxrobo

In our previous blog post, we've introduced you to some of MODI kits and its unique wireless module connection via magnet. There's more to show and learn about MODI, so let's start with MODI software. MODI software are the integral part of MODI, it allows you to code and customize the behaviors of MODI blocks when connected. MODI modules make it easy to bring any creation to life and coding with MODI software will help you build and create even further.

MODI Studio

Luxrobo has developed drag-and-drop approach to coding that learners love, known as MODI Studio. MODI Studio is a graphics-based drag and drop block coding software that uses MODI hardware. MODI modules can be code using Entry, Scratch, Python, and MODI Studio. Simply connect modules in any direction in any sequence and customize their behavior using MODI Studio (available on Windows and MacOS).

After coding with MODI Studio, use the MODI Play app (available on iOS and Android) to connect your modules to your tablet or phone via Bluetooth. Try out the cool on-screen functions like the joystick, button, slider, dial, and timer. Now you can control your creations with just a tap or swipe.

We have compiled a YouTube playlist for you to get started coding and building using MODI Studio. Check out all the videos below, or you can check out all the playlist here
